Westminster University is seeking an experienced academic leader to fill the role of Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Director. This position requires a strong background in physical therapy education, with a focus on program development, accreditation, and faculty management.

Job Description

As the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Director, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a new program based on CAPTE accreditation guidelines. Your duties will include curriculum development, maintaining accreditation standards, managing faculty and staff, and establishing partnerships for clinical education.

About the Role
  • Curriculum Development and Assessment: Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with CAPTE accreditation standards and meets the needs of our students.

  • Maintain Accreditation Standards: Oversee program accreditation activities and ensure ongoing excellence in clinical placements.
  • Fiscal Management: Manage program budget, including short-term and long-term planning initiatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a doctoral degree in physical therapy or a related field, with a minimum of six years of full-time higher education experience. You should also have experience in administration, management, and leadership, as well as fiscal management and program evaluation.

In addition, you must be familiar with CAPTE accreditation requirements and have experience working with other accreditation and regulatory agencies. A valid driver's license and successful DMV check are also required.
