Job Title: Underground Construction Technician

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the field of underground construction? Do you have experience with OSP (Outside Plant) construction and maintenance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Underground Construction Technician at Spectrum.

About the Job

As an Underground Construction Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cables, equipment, and infrastructure for our fiber optic network. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of experienced technicians to complete construction projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain fiber optic cables and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground infrastructure
  • Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions and terrain
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in OSP underground construction and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class A CDL (commercial driver's license)
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification
  • Fiber pulling experience
