Phlebotomy Specialist

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in supporting the healthcare system's clinical activities by performing phlebotomy procedures and patient point-of-care testing.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure high-quality patient care and resolve any phlebotomy service issues.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of work, investigating any problems with equipment, patient results, specimens, or workflow.
• Participate in teams or special projects, and may be responsible for teaching and training new employees, phlebotomy students, or other healthcare providers.
• Review test results to ensure accuracy and timely correction of errors or report results to healthcare providers.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures, quality control, and equipment maintenance in the laboratory.
• Monitor daily operations and ensure completion of daily work and assigned tasks.

• One year of phlebotomy experience required, or graduation from a phlebotomy program with no previous experience.
• EPIC experience preferred.

• A competitive salary range of $15.64 - $22.48 per hour.
