Agricultural Laborers

We are seeking skilled Agricultural Laborers to join our team at the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.

• Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, and brooms for duties such as auguring grain, scooping grain, and turning levers and knobs to dry grain.
• Load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling and drive to market or storage facilities.
• Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain bins.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer-provided safety equipment.
• Must speak English.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
