Summer Camp Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Summer Camp Instructor to join our team at AlphaBEST Education, Inc. for our Going Places Summer Camp. As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering our engaging and immersive curriculum to groups of campers, inspiring them to develop essential life skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

• Implement the Going Places curriculum to groups of campers, adapting it as needed to improve the camper experience or accommodate individual campers.
• Effectively collaborate with the camp team to create a memorable experience for campers, maintaining safe environments and providing leadership and camp spirit.
• Contribute to and participate in daily camp activities, including check-in and check-out, opening/closing ceremonies, and snack & lunch supervision and programming.
• Provide exceptional customer service to parents and our camp partners, ensuring a positive experience for all.

• A genuine love and interest in working with children and/or education.
• Ability to maintain an excellent work ethic, a high level of energy, and exceptional enthusiasm each day.
• Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands while balancing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a team, with an openness to feedback and a desire to grow professionally.

• College degree preferred but not required.
• Preferred experience with elementary students.
• Experience working with kids or in a camp setting a plus.

We are committed to competitively compensating staff. Regarding compensation:

• Salary $ per hour depending upon education and experience.
• Staff are compensated at a regular hourly rate, with overtime at 1.5x the hourly rate in accordance with state and federal requirements.
