Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the daily operations of our ranch. This role involves various responsibilities that ensure the health and productivity of our livestock.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $17.00
(Additional $1.00 per hour for evening shifts and $2.00 per hour for overnight shifts)

  • Assist in the daily management of ranch operations, including feeding, mortality management, equipment maintenance, and sanitation.
  • Support the grow-out program by ensuring optimal conditions for brooding, temperature control, ventilation, and health management.
  • Help coordinate feed deliveries and maintain accurate inventories of feed and fuel, ensuring effective growing practices.
  • Learn and implement sanitation protocols and disease prevention measures while adhering to safety and bio-security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
  • Willingness to develop supervisory and leadership abilities.
  • Flexibility to work as needed, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Willingness to work at different ranch locations as required.
