Metro Dental Associates is a reputable dental practice seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a Dental Hygiene Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral health care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work closely with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with our practice management team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Dental hygienist license in Michigan.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
