About the Position

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering social and recreational programs that promote youth development outcomes. You will work closely with our team to design and implement programs that meet the unique needs and interests of our members, and collaborate with external partners to enhance our services.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating the administration of designated Clubhouse social recreation programs and activities;
  • Developing and implementing programs that promote youth development outcomes;
  • Maintaining accurate records of program activities, participation, and outcomes;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to design and deliver integrated programs that meet the needs of our members;
  • Providing coaching, guidance, and support to program staff and volunteers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality programs.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The Boys & Girls Club of Oakland offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of one year of work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or youth development, is highly desirable. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
