Job Description

Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941. We are part of the Tapestry portfolio, a global house of brands committed to innovation and inclusivity.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating personal sales and clienteling strategies in partnership with the management team. You will understand changes in the local market and support the execution of local sales strategies and tactics.

You will be actively aware of personal and store metrics and achieve goals. You will flex personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store financial results.

You will discuss product features and build the sale by suggesting appropriate add-on items to fit the customers' specific needs. You will follow up with customers consistently and genuinely to influence/close the sale.

You will develop product knowledge skills and remain aware of current collections. You will demonstrate knowledge of competition and apply that knowledge to building sales and customer relationships.

You will drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers. You will represent Coach as a brand ambassador at all times.

You will be adaptable and flexible to change. You will create short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of previous selling experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cash registers systems, basic computer skills (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet)
  • Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room to provide and support customer service
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high retail traffic and sales days
