The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to join our team in the College of Health and Human Development. As a Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in establishing and ensuring best practices in the collection and accuracy of process evaluation data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and ensure compliance with best practices in the collection, accuracy, and reporting of comprehensive process evaluation data.
  • Develop and implement statewide policies and procedures related to process evaluation efforts.
  • Collaborate with federal funders and other stakeholders to ensure data collection and reporting standards are met.
  • Review and approve process evaluation plans submitted annually by statewide partners.
  • Assess partner compliance with process evaluation plans and federal reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports needed for plan development, data monitoring, decision-making, and annual report submission purposes.
  • Supervise IT staff involved in application development and user support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Public Health, Nutrition, Data Science/Analysis, or a related field.
  • Three years or more of relevant work experience in data collection, quality, analysis, or reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and supervision skills.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

  • Competitive salary range: $56,102,300.00.
