Job Overview:
As an Aircraft Records Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the meticulous management and upkeep of aircraft engine, module, and accessory log cards and records. Your expertise will ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, supporting the operational integrity of our aviation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of aircraft engine, module, and accessory log cards and records.
- Review incoming records for precision, necessary inspections, and maintenance requirements.
- Consolidate and recreate records as needed, providing essential input to the Aircraft Engine Management System (AEMS) through Engine Transaction Reports (ETRs).
- Facilitate the closeout of logbooks upon the completion of maintenance activities.
- Perform data entry into the NALCOMIS or equivalent systems and the Engine Tracking System (ETS).
- Engage in additional tasks such as data reporting for effective production or scheduling, technical directive scheduling, tracking, and materials ordering.
- Be prepared for short-term travel and shift work as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing aircraft or engine-related logs and records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as necessary.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Familiarity with Scheduled Removal Cards (SRC), Aeronautical Screening Records (ASR), Engine History Records (EHR), and Aeronautical Engine Screening Records (AESR) is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Access Database.
- Knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST.
- Familiarity with NALCOMIS/OIMA and ad hoc reporting within NALCOMIS.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
