We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at UC Health. As a Clinical Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Surgical Oncology 9CCP unit, ensuring excellent patient care and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Lead and implement operational improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with the Department Educator to provide orientation and educational needs for new staff members.
- Engage staff in departmental performance improvement activities and provide immediate counseling for staff when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal medical laws, including EMTALA, HIPAA, and House Bill 316.
- Current state license to practice nursing.
- Minimum of two to four years of clinical nursing experience in the area of clinical specialty.
- BSN in nursing.
