Job Summary:

To provide exceptional service to guests in a lakefront restaurant setting, ensuring a memorable dining experience that meets the high standards of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming personality, and a strong understanding of food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm hospitality to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, including food, wine, and cocktail options.
  • Exercise problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Follow labor schedules and work assignments, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • TABC and Food Handler certificate required; Safe-serve certified preferred.
  • Previous serving experience, preferably in a resort setting, is valued.
  • Requires a working knowledge of ala carte, fine dining, and white glove practices.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehend reading materials, speak, read, and write English; other languages valuable.
  • Impeccable standards of appearance and grooming.
  • Maintains proper associate uniform standards and footwear, which is slip-resistant, enclosed toe, and heel.
