We are seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team at BluePearl, a leading provider of emergency and critical care services for pets. As a Veterinary Technician at BluePearl, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, utilizing anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
  • Triage emergency cases, obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
  • Perform digital radiography using proper technique, including patient positioning.
  • Have a complete understanding of normal patient vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs, alerting veterinarians to changes and issues.
  • Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
  • Properly calculate medical math, administering medications via appropriate routes and duration.
  • Be proficient in phlebotomy and placing intravenous catheters in all peripheral vessels.
  • Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
  • Have a passion for mentoring and training other coworkers.
  • Have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
