Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care of Shelbyville. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to identify and prevent oral health issues
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and habits
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in dental hygiene through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Indiana
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • New Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
