Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Senior to join our team at Temple - Chestnut Hill Hospital. As a key member of our nuclear medicine department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of complex nuclear medicine procedures and tasks, requiring an advanced level of knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Performance: Under supervision, performs a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging.
  • Training and Orientation: Responsible for training and orienting senior and staff-level nuclear medicine technologists to the unit.
  • Quality Control: Performs pharmaceutical and instrument quality control to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Record Keeping: Maintains records for state and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resource Person: Serves as a resource person for staff, physicians, and other personnel, providing expert guidance and support.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program (Required)
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
  • Supervisory Experience: General experience in supervising others (Preferred)
