Position Overview

Bilingual Family Therapist

The City of College Park, Department of Youth, Family, and Senior Services, is in search of a dedicated full-time bilingual therapist who possesses exceptional strength-based clinical abilities to become part of our supportive team of professionals.

Our department is committed to delivering clinical services to a varied demographic of children, ranging from ages 2 to 18, along with their families, who frequently face intricate challenges. We prioritize professional development through consistent weekly supervision, expert guidance, and continuous opportunities for professional education.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • A master's degree in mental health along with a valid Maryland LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LMFT, or a comparable professional license.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required - (English and Spanish).
  • Willingness to work two evenings each week.
  • Experience in play therapy is preferred.

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $78,787 - $81,864, contingent upon experience and licensure. The city provides a comprehensive benefits package and the possibility of partial telework hours after the probationary period. We offer flexible scheduling options and convenient access from major routes.
