Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates under the ANA scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process framework to deliver professional nursing care. This includes incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with patients and families to incorporate their input and goals into the care plan.
- Develop and document educational strategies for patients and families, ensuring appropriate records are maintained.

Qualifications
- Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role, along with successful completion of the NCLEX exam.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire/transfer; ACLS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 15 months.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within 2 years.
- Preference for RN experience; graduate nurses will be considered.

Work Schedule
- Employment Type: Full-time

- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 36
- Days Worked: Varies
- Weekend Frequency: Every other weekend.
