We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities for Consolidated Electrical Distributors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing productivity, quality, and customer service standards, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate and timely.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems, and establish relationships with suppliers and freight companies.
- Plan delivery routes and ensure timeliness and accuracy of drivers.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the warehouse environment.
- Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a related field.
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques, with the ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data, and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships with customers, suppliers, and freight companies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will work in a warehouse environment with concrete floors and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures. The position requires standing, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and walking with frequent repetition, as well as stooping, kneeling, and crouching with occasional sitting.
