Hogan ILP Specialist

This is a 100% remote opportunity within the USA/Canada.
Algobrain is seeking a skilled Hogan expert to oversee and maintain critical applications, including Deposits (DDA & TDA), RPM, CIS, Umbrella, PAS, ODS, and CAMS.
As a Hogan ILP Developer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams: Work alongside development teams to implement new releases, upgrades, and system conversions seamlessly.
- Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve problems in Hogan applications and mainframe environments, both online and in batch processes.
- Provide support: Offer front-end support to business analysts, assisting them in understanding and resolving technical issues.
- Create documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation for all phases of software development and implementation.
- Technical expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in JCL, programming, testing, conversion monitoring, and verification.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hogan mastery: In-depth knowledge of Hogan Applications, including Deposits (DDA & TDA), RPM, CIS, Umbrella, PAS, ODS, and CAMS.
- Process expertise: Experience with Hogan process dictionary components and PCDs, with hands-on involvement in system conversions, development, or implementation.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency: Programming experience in CICS/VSAM, IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easytrieve, JCL, MVS, Expeditor, and source management tools like Endeavor or Changeman.
- Software development: Ability to design, develop, test, and document complex software applications.
- SDLC expertise: Experience with software design, SDLC, and development methodologies.
- Hogan core banking: In-depth knowledge of Hogan concepts like Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, and Hogan Abend troubleshooting.
