Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care to work in Washington, DC. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in pediatric intensive care. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, provide exceptional patient care, and collaborate with the nursing team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Provide compassionate and individualized care to patients and their families.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Administer medications as ordered, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatric intensive care.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and utilize PC skills.
- Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
