About the Role:

Gates Industrial Corporation plc is a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment to couple and form various sizes and product lines of hydraulic hose & tube assemblies.
  • Perform assembly tasks utilizing a variety of tools and machines.
  • Work in a team environment to support the safety, productivity, and delivery of high-quality products.
  • Read, understand, and perform printed and verbal work instructions throughout all processes.
  • Constantly demonstrate safe working habits and follow all safety requirements.
  • Plan, evaluate, set up, and run needed equipment, and verify compliance.
  • Examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Proactively support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross-training of all functions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week plus overtime.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
  • Ability to read, understand, and perform printed and verbal work instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Team-oriented individual who understands and supports the team approach to manufacturing.
