About the Role

Mayo Clinic is a world-renowned healthcare organization seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer ionizing radiation using imaging modalities to perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and assess data reflective of the patient's status.
  • Interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs and provide support within the Interventional Radiology suites.
  • Assist in Stealth guidance and provide imaging support for the Hybrid operating room.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited radiography program of study.
  • One year experience as an interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab technologist preferred.
  • Functions as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and ability to improvise standard procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT-R and Arizona CRT required.
  • Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • CV, CI, VI, RCIS or RCES required within two years of hire.
  • Certification in Cardiac or Vascular Intervention by the ARRT preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

$53.94 per hour. Benefits eligible. Full-time position with 80 hours per pay period.
