Job Overview
San Diego LGBT Community Center seeks an experienced Senior Grant Writer to expand institutional fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will focus on securing large grants from corporations, foundations, and government agencies that support The Center's mission and work.

Key Responsibilities
- Write grant proposals for corporations, foundations, and government agencies
- Develop a deep understanding of program content to ensure integrity and quality of proposal writing
- Lead proposal generation process, including coordinating with key staff to produce and submit compelling high-quality proposals
- Ensure grant proposal and reporting deadlines are met

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in grant writing with a demonstrated track record of success
- Proficiency in working with computers and Microsoft Office software
- Must have attention to detail, organization, reliability, flexibility, and professionalism
- Must possess a strong professional work ethic and ability to meet deadlines; must work well in multicultural teams and with diverse constituencies
- Fluency in English is required

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
