About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at BlockDox, a leading provider of data science powered optimization of critical building services. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying AI-driven software solutions that generate actionable insights and enhance the performance of managed buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and TensorFlow
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into applications and systems
  • Automate the deployment pipeline to streamline the transition from development to production
  • Monitor and maintain deployed models, addressing any issues that arise
  • Work closely with our team of data scientists and expert engineers to understand model requirements and specifications

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
  • Proficiency in Python and TensorFlow
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and MQTT

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with IoT devices and software
  • Business Information and Visualization tools
  • Scripting in JavaScript and/or Python
  • STEM degree
  • Software engineering (Git, Agile, SQL)
  • DevOps (IoT, Azure, AWS, Docker, Terraform)
  • Data engineering (ETL, pipelines)
  • Stats, Data Science, Machine Learning, Probabilistic programming (scipy, numpy, pytorch)
