Clinical Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physician to join our team at Keck Medicine of USC. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions.
- Obtain patient history and perform complete or focused physical examinations and procedures, as needed.
- Devises a diagnostic and treatment plan to address patients' medical needs.
- Orders laboratory and radiologic tests and interprets results.
- Prescribes and administers medications, vaccines, and other treatments, as needed.
- Identifies unstable or high-level care patients and makes arrangements for transfer to appropriate facilities.
- Refers patients for medical and/or other treatment, when appropriate.
- MD Degree in Medicine or D.O. Degree in Medicine.
- 1 year experience as M.D. or D.O.
- Ability to provide diagnostic treatment and counseling services.
- Ability to analyze situations and take effective action.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
- 2 years experience as M.D. or D.O.
- Medical Doctor Current valid license/certification to practice medicine in the state of California.
- Specialty Certification Board certified with current certificate in specialty area.
- DEA Certificate.
The annual base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $363,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
