About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Assistant Supervisor to lead our patient care team at VCA Charles Towne Animal Hospital in Charleston, SC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to our patient care team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Assist with inventory, equipment, and facility maintenance
  • Participate in marketing and events to promote the hospital and its services
Requirements
  • One or more years of leadership/management experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • South Carolina Veterinary Technician License (LVT) or eligible preferred
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and pet parents
  • Comfortable with mentoring and training others
  • Strong technical skills with a desire to continue improving
  • Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexible with work schedule
  • Proven ability to keep accurate patient records
  • Motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a professional and positive outlook
