Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision and adhering to established protocols, the Pediatric Physical Therapist will:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of pediatric patients.
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and equipment to enhance patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families about treatment processes, expected outcomes, and follow-up care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Current registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical and clinical skills to assess and implement age-appropriate therapeutic methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with patients and families.
- Technical proficiency in operating therapy equipment and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, lifting, and positioning patients.
