Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Alex and Ani. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products with the highest level of customer satisfaction, and assisting the management team with day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the driving force behind the ALEX AND ANI message of positive energy by consistently delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our brand values.
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge by staying up-to-date on all new collections and core product lines to effectively assist customers.
- Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers to ensure accurate and efficient sales processing.
- Introduce promotions and sale opportunities to customers to drive sales and increase revenue.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate client feedback, business trends, and recommendations to the store management team to inform business decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store and stockroom to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Assist in visual presentation standards and ensure the store is replenished at all times to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Maintain compliance with Retail Operations Policy and Procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Assist the Management team in the protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss to minimize financial risk.
Requirements
- Retail sales experience with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
