Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Dover, Ohio.

Job Details
  • Job Type: Travel
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for examinations
  • Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment
  • Write reports based on scan results
  • Alert medical staff of any abnormalities

Requirements
  • Active certification: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Current BLS: American Heart Association
  • 2+ years of experience: Recent relevant experience in diagnostic medical sonography
