As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
This role is part of our Engineering and Technical Services team, which provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and make repairs as needed.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems to meet changing needs.
- Review and complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use established procedures to solve routine problems and communicate effectively with team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of job-related experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, standing, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to follow established procedures and standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
