Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging and excellent communication skills. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing patient studies, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to established protocols, including placing coils and adjusting equipment settings.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient studies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, with a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Current licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
