Clinical Research Nursing Specialist - RN

As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations globally, we maintain four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in both the UK and US.


We are currently in search of a Clinical Research Nursing Specialist, who will engage directly with our healthy volunteer participants while gaining insights into clinical research protocols and thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Each day presents unique challenges, exposing you to a diverse range of Therapeutic Indications and study types, including ascending dose studies, first-in-human trials, food effect studies, and drug-drug interaction assessments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize the dignity, health, safety, and welfare of participants at all times.
  • Maintain current emergency certifications and adhere to company emergency policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Employ clinical judgment and nursing diagnosis to ensure a high standard of care for participants in clinical trials.
  • Utilize nursing assessment skills to monitor participant well-being and identify potential adverse events, documenting them and taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Facilitate the Informed Consent process by educating and informing participants about study procedures.
  • Administer investigational compounds to participants in accordance with the study protocol and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct study-related activities such as cannulation, telemetry, holters, vital signs monitoring, ECGs, and venipuncture.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with current licensure in the applicable state.
  • CPR/AED certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred upon entry; ACLS certification may be obtained during employment if not yet certified.
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for educational requirements.
