Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Radiology Technologist to work with our clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Radiology Technologist
  • Experience working in a radiology department or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
