Welder Job Description

At Waste Connections, we're seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and compactor repair tasks to maintain our fleet's integrity.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and address any issues with our trash/compactor containers, compactor repairs, and trash trucks.
  • Document all work, including parts usage and repair times, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and repair.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
