Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on the team
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments
  • Review new physician orders, ensure accurate documentation, and notify other departments as needed
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program and/or current enrollment in an Alternative Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
