Pediatric Cardiologist with Fetal Echocardiography Expertise

Ochsner Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in fetal echocardiography to lead our fetal echocardiography team. Our busy service currently performs over 800 fetal echocardiograms a year, and we collaborate closely with a thriving maternal fetal medicine team.
The ideal candidate will share inpatient consultative service as well as outpatient clinic responsibilities at our main campus as well as satellite locations with other members of the division. In addition, the candidate will have opportunities to participate in the teaching of medical students and residents from The University of Queensland and Tulane University.
We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to complex conditions, and our comprehensive Pediatrics Program includes primary care pediatricians and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists. Our hospital is the top congenital heart program in the state (both in volume and outcomes) and has the largest and most comprehensive pediatric liver transplant program in the Gulf South.
We offer a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care, with services offered in all subspecialties, including Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Advanced GI and Hepatology, Advanced Orthopedic Surgery, Hematology-Oncology, Cleft Palate/Cranio-Facial Surgery, as well as heart, liver, and bone marrow transplant.
