Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, including common spaces and building interiors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial work in facility common space and other building interiors
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial equipment
  • Dust and wash walls, clean ceilings, and dust and polish light fixtures
  • Wash and replace blinds, move furniture and equipment to clean areas
  • Remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions
  • Sweep walks, remove snow, and perform other incidental seasonal tasks
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 8th grade education
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be interested in geriatrics and able to work independently or with a team
  • Must be able to tolerate lifting, pushing, and pulling in the 25-pound range frequently
