Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to children and families. As a key member of our Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) program, you will be responsible for delivering community-based mental health treatment to a caseload of 20 children/youth and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Community-Based Mental Health Treatment: Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to the child's and family's needs, with a focus on prevention and early intervention.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with families to create and implement treatment plans, ensuring that services are family-focused, community-based, multi-systemic, culturally competent, and least-restrictive.
- Document and Communicate Effectively: Complete all documentation in accordance with CFTSS standards, including notes, assessments, and treatment plans, and maintain regular communication with other CFTSS and Care Coordination providers.
- Crisis Intervention and Team Collaboration: Conduct crisis intervention as needed and participate in team meetings to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Related Field: Required for this role, with a focus on clinical practice and behavioral health services.
- Licensed Clinical Degree: LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or related licensed clinical degree required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting and in a clinical capacity.
- DSM V Diagnostic Experience: Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and experience with behavioral/therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and families is essential.
- Computer Skills and Communication: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid NYS Driver's License: Required for this role.
