Ametek, Inc. is seeking a skilled Foundry Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate various machines and equipment in our foundry. The successful candidate will be responsible for casting, welding, machining, and assembling parts, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate casting machines, including DCM and load/unload press
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including stack welding
  • Perform machining operations, including CNC and drill press
  • Assemble and inspect parts, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Maintain equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Entry-level experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
  • Knowledge of hand and air tools, calipers, and other equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment with exposure to chemicals and fumes
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Overtime may be required to meet production demands
