Job Summary

We are seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified general gastroenterologist to join our team as an inpatient specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access, and management of GI emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform endoscopy generated from the emergency department and inpatient consult service
  • Manage patients with gastrointestinal diseases, including upper and lower GI bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus
  • Work in conjunction with established interventional endoscopists and other subspecialists
  • Collaborate with an Advanced Practice Provider to facilitate inpatient consults and transition of care
Requirements
  • Board certification in gastroenterology
  • Experience in inpatient gastroenterology
  • Competency in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access, and GI emergency management
  • ERCP highly preferred
