Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will engage in the pursuit of the most innovative, effective, and personalized treatment options, ensuring that our patients receive care tailored to their unique circumstances.

In this role, you will operate under minimal supervision, delivering professional nursing care to our radiology patients in accordance with established standards and practices. You will be responsible for making informed decisions based on your clinical expertise and experience, while adhering to the Standards for Nursing Practice and the policies and procedures of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate full competency in the nursing aspects of all Radiology procedures.
  • Support and comply with the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited professional nursing education program.
  • Radiology experience is highly desirable; however, OCSRI is willing to train the right candidate.
  • Opportunities for professional growth are available upon obtaining oncology certification.
  • Experience and knowledge regarding the purpose and use of medications in cancer treatment is advantageous.
  • Possession of an RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Current CPR certification is required, along with ONS certification.
  • Commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements.
