About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care and support to residents, including administering medication and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting resident care services.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Current State Registered Nurse RN License
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and provide compassionate care to residents
