Coverage Details:
Clinical responsibilities plus on-call duties

Shift Information:
Day shifts with 24-hour on-call availability

Patient Care Volume:
  • Approximately 20 patients in clinic settings
  • Inpatient care for newborns
Admissions: 1
Support Team:
Comprising 1 Physician, 1 Family Nurse Practitioner, and 4 Nursing Staff

Facility Features:
6 Examination Rooms
Laboratory Services:
On-site lab available
Procedures Offered:
- In-house Circumcisions
- Ear Irrigation
- Minor Suturing
- COVID/Sick Clinic
- Point of Care Testing for Strep, Flu, RSV
- Routine Well Child Visits and Immunizations

Additional Information:
  • Participation in C-Sections is required
  • No Intensive Care Unit responsibilities
  • No Emergency Room backup duties
  • Limited response to codes, unless in the nursery

Electronic Medical Records:
Utilization of EPIC system

Qualifications:
- Active medical license in North Carolina
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- DEA registration
