Overview:

Wells Fargo is on the lookout for a Senior Process Improvement Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team within Global Operations, particularly in the Digital Transformation – Process Intelligence Services (PIS) division. Our international team is dedicated to driving improvements in processes, efficiency, and control that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and successful implementation of process and task mining projects.
  • Guide stakeholders through the exploration and design of no-code action flows.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process simplification, enhancements, and automation solutions.
  • Utilize root cause analysis tools, such as A3 problem-solving, to address complex challenges.
  • Assess and secure buy-in from business leaders and finance partners regarding the business value of identified opportunities.
  • Employ business insight and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and navigate change management within a matrix organization.
  • Provide strategic guidance in the realms of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Engineering or a related field, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business or management.
  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting at a leading consulting firm or financial institution.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Familiarity with process mining tools and programming languages (Celonis, SQL, PQL, Python).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive learner with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A high achiever who can swiftly address challenges and adapt to dynamic conditions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in presenting to executive teams.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
