Our Department of Cardiology is a nationally recognized leader in cardiovascular care, with a team of 45 cardiologists working at our academic medical center in New Orleans.
About the RoleAs a cardiologist on our Advanced Heart Failure team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex heart failure and cardiac transplantation needs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including mid-level providers and advanced heart failure fellows, to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients with advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation needs
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in our growing pulmonary hypertension Comprehensive Care Center and cardiogenic shock initiative
- Contribute to the academic environment, including working with fellows and residents on a regular basis
