Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified WrapAround Assistant to join our team at Caldwell County Schools. The successful candidate will provide support to students and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage with students in outdoor and indoor environments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities, including planning and conducting age-appropriate programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized program area, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and surfaces.
  • Support food service and associated sanitation tasks.
  • Handle discipline problems according to established policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain activity areas, materials, and supplies.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required and must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience with elementary/middle school children preferred.
  • Basic School Age Care, CPR, and First Aid training required within six weeks of hire.

Physical Demands:
  • Standing for extended periods, sometimes exceeding one hour.
  • Lifting up to 30 pounds regularly, 50 pounds infrequently.
  • Grasping and applying pressure to objects with palm.
  • Visual acuity to observe children from long distances.
  • Hearing at normal speaking levels and with background noise.

Working Conditions:
  • Varied work schedule, including afternoons and summer camp hours.
  • Must be available to work 2-6pm, Monday through Friday, during the school year.
