Soundview Consultants LLC is a leading environmental consulting firm with a strong presence in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Arborist/Forester/Scientist to join our team.
About the Role:We are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in arboriculture, environmental sciences, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in arboriculture consulting, with a focus on tree risk assessment, tree canopy assessment, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated support to our ISA certified arborist, including fieldwork and data analysis.
- Perform individual tree assessments and large-scale tree inventories, utilizing Microsoft Excel to enter and analyze field data.
- Prepare high-quality reports, including tree assessment and other arborist reports, with excellent scientific writing and attention to detail.
- Conduct research and provide findings on local regulatory codes, demonstrating analysis abilities.
- Support other departments, including wetland, habitat, and shoreline projects, as needed.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Read, write, and speak English at an expert level.
