Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

SimonMed Imaging LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations using various techniques and modalities
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, including calibrating and ordering supplies as needed
  • Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an approved program in Ultrasound Technology or equivalent experience
  • ARDMS registration and valid Hands-On CPR certification
  • Knowledge of abdomen, small parts, breast, and OB/GYN imaging
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
