Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality nursing care to patients, following physician orders and facility policies.
  • Administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies.
  • Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
  • Assist physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
  • Perform treatments scheduled during shift and document appropriately.
  • Maintain infection control measures and adhere to regulations regarding cleanliness and Standard/Universal Precautions.
  • Assist with research related to quality of nursing care and assist with records, orders, and assessment of new admissions.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work well with all nursing personnel and other departments.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to make decisions regarding nursing problems.
